Greencore Homes (previously known as Greencore Construction) is a truly purpose-driven business based in Oxfordshire, UK - a developer of 'Climate Positive' homes with a mission to accelerate the global transition to healthy, low carbon living.
In 2022, M&G Investments acquired a majority stake in Greencore through its Catalyst strategy, creating the foundations for future growth.
First steps
LMC started working with Greencore in 2016, at the point where Greencore was just starting to create two brands - its construction arm, focused at that time mostly on high-end custom build homes, and a franchise model for its hemp-lime closed panel building system which we called Biond.
We ran a facilitated workshop to identify the marketing strategy for both parts of the business, and to build the brief for Greencore and Biond's corporate identity, two separate websites, social media and PR activities.
We helped Greencore develop its communications strategy and key messages.
We organised a one-day event aligned to the ‘One Planet Oxfordshire’ plan which attracted 120 delegates including town planners, investors, landowners, architects, technology-based companies and representatives from local councils and housing associations. We also created a video of the event, delivering extra value from the day and providing content that could be re-used on the Greencore website in the future. Over the years that we worked with Greencore, we went on to produce several videos of its housing projects, with glowing testimonials from delighted homeowners.
As the first results of Greencore's high quality homes started to become apparent, LMC also entered Greencore into its first awards. Greencore was highly commended in the Structural Timber Association awards in 2017 and won the Building Safety Group Health and Safety Awards in 2018. It continues to win awards year after year for sustainable development, for innovative, low-carbon MMC, and for its leadership as Climate Champions.
