Praise from the PRCA for LMC

Celebrating several recent successes with the PRCA.

PRCA Workplace Champions 2024

The new financial year is already off to a fantastic start for LMC, as we have been crowned the winner in not just one but two categories at the PRCA Workplace Champions Awards 2024!

We are incredibly proud to have brought home the trophies for Small Agency and Training & Development – a new category for this year – and to have been highly commended in the Employee Value category.

This is the fifth consecutive year that LMC has won the Small Agency award, which is testament to our unwavering commitment to ensuring our employees feel heard, valued and respected across the business.

The PRCA Workplace Champions Awards celebrate the leading places to work, live, and thrive in the PR industry.

They aim to highlight the agencies and in-house teams that go the extra mile to establish positive and inclusive working environments for colleagues, as well as showcase organisations that practice what they preach, leading by example to deliver equal opportunities and positive experiences for all their stakeholders.

As a proud corporate member of the PRCA, we view the awards as essential for recognising our efforts to provide a positive and inclusive working environment.

Our associate director Dan Gerrella and content consultant Alisha Lad represented LMC at this year’s ceremony, which took place in London on 17 April 2024. Thanks to the PRCA for organising an enjoyable evening and congratulations to all the other winners and finalists. It was fantastic to celebrate alongside them.

PRCA Dare Awards nomination

Since then, the shortlist for the PRCA Dare Awards 2024 has been announced and we are thrilled to be in contention for the Media Relations award.

Our entry focused on our work with construction data provider Barbour ABI, with which we've worked closely to develop high-impact, easy-to-understand stories, using their fantastic data and construction market intelligence.

We’ve got everything crossed for the ceremony in June in the hopes we’ll have yet another award to add to our shelf.

Securing the Gold Standard CMS accreditation

We have also maintained our Gold Standard accreditation in the PRCA’s Communications Management Standard (CMS) – the hallmark of PR and communications excellence – for the fifth year running.

The CMS was introduced by the PRCA in 1998 and helps consultancies to distinguish themselves in the eyes of prospective clients and procurement. It can also help to identify areas of improvement and growth in all aspects of the business.

LMC is one of around 20 agencies with this accreditation. We received some fantastic feedback from the assessor covering business planning, new business and campaign management.

They praised us for our high level of communication among the whole team, described our new business strategy as “best and effective practice”, and rated our campaign management, with a focus on client satisfaction, as “excellent”.
