The definining issue of our age


ESG (environmental, social and governance) issues have been at the heart of much of our work since LMC began, with the aim of championing the pioneers with maximum understanding and technical integrity, and no greenwash.

LMC’s most senior consultants have over 35 years’ experience in promoting new initiatives in energy efficiency and building physics, low carbon building solutions, affordable warmth, environmental sustainability and biodiversity, air quality, circular economy, health and wellbeing, social value and inclusion.

Recent projects


Recent work includes developing a communications campaign to promote improved Scope 3 reporting in construction supply chains, plus identifying influencers and potential ambassadors for the UK's whole life carbon roadmap, and a major media relations campaign on improving Energy Performance Certificates.

We have promoted innovations in airtightness, building performance measurement and mould prevention, and creating case studies of sustainability and social value projects linked to Gold-standard public sector procurement.

Our own commitment


As a certified B Corp, we are strongly committed to playing our own part in tackling climate change. We track our business and its impacts against the UN Sustainable Development Goals and have launched lower-carbon digital marketing services.

LMC has signed the Clean Creatives pledge to decline any contracts with fossil fuel companies, trade associations or front groups. We are on our own net zero journey with Science Based Targets. LMC is also an active member of the AECB and a signatory to the SME Climate Hub.
