A packed calendar doesn’t always have to mean a packed diary. Early planning and being selective about the events you attend will not only save you time, but will also allow you to focus on the events that matter to you most.

Drawing on years of supporting clients at the sector’s key shows, Wing Tsang shares the top ten construction and property events she thinks are worth shortlisting in 2026. We have grouped them by purpose to help you plan.

Big-stage visibility

UKCW is still one of the sector’s major events, and this year, they have teamed up with Futurebuild for the first time. While both events will keep their own identity, visitors have the benefit of meeting contractors, consultants, manufacturers and policymakers in one place. Expect seminar sessions on products, skills, regulation and sustainability, plus plenty of live demos. Great for widening your network and spotting the themes that will shape 2026-27.

Dates: London, 12-14 May 2026, and Birmingham, 29 September-1 October 2026.

2. London Build (co-located with elementalLONDON)

London Build is known for innovation, sustainability, skills and technology, with CPD sessions for those who are recording their training and development. This year, they teamed up with elementalLONDON to bring building services, retrofit, and heat and energy into the mix.

Dates: 25-26 November 2026.
A large construction industry trade show takes place inside a vast exhibition hall with an arched glass ceiling. The banner "WE BUILT THIS CITY!" spans across the center above hundreds of attendees and vendor booths displaying construction equipment and materials. A person in the foreground watches the bustling floor from an elevated viewing area.

3. Housing 2026 under the Homes UK umbrella

A cluster of focused conferences across delivery, digital, safety and leadership in the housing sector. You will find streams on policy, finance, asset management and resident engagement, supported by a broad exhibition. Useful for anyone who wants policy context plus practical routes to delivery.

Dates: Manchester, 23-25 June 2026, and ExCel, 24-25 November 2026.

Specialist growth plays

For people serious about modern methods of construction. Visitors can expect clear sessions on productivity, skills and delivery, with case studies and technical seminars instead of hype. Good for platform approaches and supply chain readiness.

Date: Coventry, date to be confirmed.
For strategic and local roads. The seminars typically cover digitalisation, resilience, client pipelines, sustainability and materials. It is an important event to visit if you work on large or publicly funded projects and need time with framework providers.

Dates: Birmingham, 14-15 October 2026.

Deep dive for doers

Focused on information management, BIM, geospatial, automation and AI. Seminars at DCW cover project delivery, asset operations and information security, with practical case studies demonstrating how technology improves projects, teams and the built environment.

7. UKREiiF

Real estate investment and infrastructure under one roof. Visitors can expect a full seminar programme with senior public and private voices. Especially useful for councils, developers and investors looking to unlock regeneration and funding.

Skills and pride

10. Super Trowel, Hertfordshire

The UK’s biggest bricklaying and construction skills event, a showcase for craft, apprenticeships and training with competitions, demos and supplier engagement. A timely reminder that skilled people sit at the heart of every transformation, from retrofit quality to new-build productivity.
