Timber is an increasingly popular material in construction, not least because of its exceptional environmental credentials - did you know that every cubic metre of wood used in a building helps to lock up about one tonne of carbon. The safe and responsible use of sustainably-sourced wood also delivers huge benefits in other areas like innovative design, speed of construction, cost and resource efficiency, and occupiers' health and wellbeing.

Since 2003, LMC has carried out extensive PR and educational work around timber in construction, helping clients to promote the use of timber for structural, joinery, external and landscaping applications.
We’ve worked on projects across the full spectrum, from housebuilding using timber frame, timber panels and trussed rafters, to apartments and offices constructed with cross-laminated timber (CLT), through to beautiful woodworking and craftsmanship for interior fit-outs, joinery products, doors, staircases and windows. We have promoted guidance on fire safety, responsible sourcing, technical best practice and careers in timber engineering.
For many years, we also managed all the communications, content and case studies for the UK's Wood for Good campaign.
And we’ve won multiple awards for client campaigns that support timber industry growth and development.
