LMC wins Best PR Consultancy Team at the IBP Awards 2018

Just one week ago we were at the IBP Communication and PR Awards, simply to celebrate being shortlisted and to enjoy a great team night out.

Little did we know we were about to walk away with the Best PR Consultancy Team award and be highly commended for our entry into the Best Business Communications Campaign award.

It was the first time we’d entered the IBP Awards and it’s safe to say we did not expect to win.

Perfect pitch and good timing

Commenting on our Best Business Communications Campaign entry, which featured our work promoting UK Construction Week’s diversity policy, the judges said:

“This campaign was described as a ‘rollercoaster’ by LMC and the judges agreed it was an impressive and high-profile piece of work.

“Thanks to a perfect pitch and good timing, the team was able to secure memorable national coverage in broadcast, print and online media, coverage which undoubtedly contributed to change on one of the biggest trade shows in the world, MIPIM.”

A clear winner

On our entry for the Best PR Consultancy Team award, the judges had this to say:

“The LMC team brought two clients to their initial presentation, a bold move which impressed the judges given its confidence and transparency. The team demonstrated it benefitted from strong guidance and leadership and showed it had a far-sighted approach focusing on issues facing a wider industry such as fire safety, sexism, and disruptive technology as well as those immediately facing individual clients.

“Their entry and presentation demonstrated a sense of deep thinking going beyond the services typically provided by a PR practioner. A clear winner.”
