Dan Gerrella

LMC has recruited Dan Gerrella – formerly head of communications at international architect practice, Broadway Malyan – as an associate director.

Dan brings a journalistic background as well as 12 years’ specialist property and construction PR and marketing experience to LMC. Previously he headed up communications for Broadway Malyan’s Asia Pacific division and before that was PR, marketing and communications manager at Rider Levett Bucknall, a global property and construction consultancy.

Dan is a Chartered PR practitioner and chair of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ (CIPR) Construction and Property Special Interest Group (CAPSIG). He is also a member of the CIPR Council.

Innovation and insight

At LMC, he is tasked with leading on innovation, providing well-informed industry insight and strategic advice to clients, and helping to win new business.

Dan said:

“I’ve been watching LMC from the wings for the past year and I found it refreshing to see the company innovating and growing so rapidly. LMC has achieved two important industry awards recently which shows the calibre of the agency. After meeting with Liz and the team, I realised that so many of our business and personal values are aligned; the move seemed a perfect fit. I’m really looking forward to getting to know the clients and helping to move the business forward.”

Liz Male, managing director at LMC, said:

“Dan has the ideal skill set for our consultancy and for our clients in the property and construction sectors. He fits in perfectly with our team here at Sherington. I’m looking forward to working with him to develop new services, to win new business and to build better, faster, more cost-effective PR and marketing tools that help our clients through the complex business challenges they are facing.”
