LMC has been awarded the PRCA’s Consultancy Management Standard (CMS) for the third consecutive time.
Considered the gold standard for PR agencies, the accolade is given to businesses that have been audited against criteria relating to business operations, client service delivery and people development.
Dan Gerrella, associate director at LMC, said: “The PRCA CMS standard is a real mark of excellence in the PR industry. It’s really important to us because it benchmarks our performance against other agencies. It also provides a framework that we use to continually look for ways to improve what we deliver to clients and what we offer our staff.”
Carol Magill, CMS assessor at PRCA, said: “Well done to LMC for being awarded CMS for the third time. The vision for the organisation is engaging and ambitious. It’s an agency with a personality that is not afraid to share and grow with its team members.
“LMC also demonstrated that they support and promote the next generation of PRs via a sound diversity approach, demonstrating fairness and a passion for helping people grow in the sector.”
There was a special mention within the assessment about how LMC had adapted its business plan in response to Covid-19, setting a “strategic, coherent and comprehensive focus” for the future.
The CMS process analyses agencies in nine areas – leadership and communication, business planning, business improvement, financial management and systems, campaign management, client satisfaction, new business, people management and diversity.
Every year the criteria is updated to test new areas and ensure that it remains relevant. This year, extra emphasis was placed on diversity and sustainability.
