Talentview Construction

A major initiative to recruit and retain talent in the UK construction industry, backed by the Construction Leadership Council and CITB

Talentview Construction (TVC) and the Construction Talent Retention Scheme (CTRS) are not-for-profit programmes designed to create a ‘one stop shop’ sector talent hub for the attraction, development and retention of people and skills within construction and the built environment, as part of the UK Government’s broader support to business on skills.

Collaborative communications

LMC was appointed in late 2020 to drive engagement with target audiences across the entire construction industry.

We have promoted TVC and CTRS through a comprehensive PR and communications strategy which has also included collaborations with multiple construction employers, trade bodies and the CITB:

  • Helping construction employers to recruit experienced workers to address the skills shortage
  • Using Talentview Construction, in partnership with Go Construct, to help promote careers in construction and to help young people find their first jobs, apprenticeships and traineeships in the built environment
  • Showcasing 'new' careers in construction, including green jobs and roles in digitalisation
  • Supporting construction companies in distress, facing restructuring or insolvency, to redeploy their staff into other roles within the industry
  • Working closely with the Department for Business and Trade, DWP and other Government teams to address key policy priorities
