Strategic planning and counsel

We work with clients on a wide range of business planning activities, especially looking at aligning corporate strategy to meet your reputational needs, and on detailed PR and communications plans.

Many of our clients are membership bodies (professional institutes, trade associations etc) and consultancies, so we have particular expertise in planning effective membership and internal communications too.

Using structured techniques, including graphic facilitation, we can help you:

PR and media relations

We provide an outsourced Press Office service for clients, and we also help you build your own positive relationships with journalists and specialist correspondents. We steer and mentor you and your spokespeople through the ins and outs of talking to the media, leaving you competent to take things further yourself without the fear that often accompanies the whole process.

We will never jeopardise our media relationships with poor PR practice. We're not a press release factory. We don't do PR puff. 

Instead, we work with you to provide the media with exactly what they want - new information, intelligent analysis and strong positions on the issues that matter most.

Sustainability communications

We have 20 years' experience of communicating about sustainability - particularly environmental sustainability in the design, procurement, construction and management of buildings. Very few PR consultancies have our depth of understanding about the low carbon agenda, energy use in buildings, construction standards, regulations and similar issues.

We advise clients on how best to communicate their sustainability credentials - with no greenwash.

Opinion-former research

Our research work helps you to identify and target the 20% of stakeholders who will deliver 80% of the benefit.

Using our established contacts and relationships throughout the industry, we can help you understand the legacy of past performance, as well as opinion formers' current perceptions and their future expectations.

Marketing communications and digital marketing

Where clients need an integrated communications service targeting Westminster, Whitehall and the devolved Governments, we work very closely with a specialist Public Affairs consultancy in London to help ensure your point of view is heard and understood.

Coaching and mentoring
