 Becoming a stronger voice for private sector building control

The Association of Consultant Approved Inspectors (ACAI) was formed in 1996 and is the organisation that represents private sector building control consultancies and inspectors in England and Wales.

We worked with the ACAI on all aspects of its communications strategy and how it reaches out to members, the media and political stakeholders.

We helped to establish:

• A clear communications strategy and 'manifesto' to promote members' views for the future of building control
• A new corporate identity for the ACAI
• A content-rich website and regular e-newsletter for members
• A PR and media relations campaign on critical issues
• A regular market survey and poll of members
• Prompt responses to important policy consultations
